Our Cemetery

CAA’s CEMETERY is located within Keene’s serene Monadnock View Cemetery (499 Park Avenue). A beautiful place of repose, the cemetery is meticulously maintained by the City of Keene. Our section of the cemetery is jointly administered by the CAA Cemetery Committee and the city. In recognition of the diversity of today’s Jewish community, the Jewish section contains areas for traditional Jewish burials, an area for the interment of non-Jewish spouses and partners, and an area for the burial of cremains.

We encourage making burial arrangements well in advance to spare loved ones from handling administrative tasks during times of grief and distress.

CAA members in good standing for two years qualify for discounted rates. Additional benefits of CAA Membership include use of the synagogue for services, rabbinic officiating, and Chevra Kadisha services (shmirah and taharah) free of charge.

To discuss purchasing a plot, please contact Daniella Yitzchak, Synagogue Administrator, at (603)352-6747 or office@keenesynagogue.org, or David Kochman, co-chair of the Cemetery Committee at (603)852-4072 or kochman10@yahoo.com.
